Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-25
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone using OIO (the "Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service. If you break it, we may restrict content or features, or suspend or close the account, in proportion to how serious and how repeated the problem is (see below). Refunds then follow the Terms and the Refund Policy, and statutory rights always apply. Serious cases may be reported to law enforcement.

AI-Specific Rules
- Do not submit data to AI features that you are not allowed to disclose to our AI providers, which process it in the USA (see the Privacy Policy).
- Do not use AI output to generate illegal content, disinformation, or content that impersonates real people in harmful ways.
- Do not attempt to extract or reproduce the underlying model weights or training data.
- AI output may be inaccurate. Do not rely on it for legal, financial, medical, or safety-critical decisions without independent verification.
What We Do About Violations
We do not monitor what you store, but we act on reports and on what we find while running the Service. Depending on how serious and how repeated the problem is, we may remove or block content, turn off a sharing link or form, limit features, or suspend or close the account. We tell the affected user what we did and why, and how to challenge it, as set out in section 11 of the Terms. Child sexual abuse material is removed at once and reported to the authorities.
Reporting Security Vulnerabilities
If you find a security vulnerability, report it to security@oio.app with enough detail for us to reproduce it. Test only against your own account and data, do not access, change or delete other people's data, do not degrade the Service, and give us a reasonable time to fix the issue before you disclose it publicly. We confirm receipt and tell you what we did. Good-faith research that follows these rules is not a breach of this policy.
Reporting Illegal Content
Send reports to abuse@oio.app. So we can act, include:
- why you believe the content is illegal or breaks this policy;
- the exact link (URL) to it, and anything else that helps us find it;
- your name and email (you can leave these out for child sexual abuse material);
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your report is accurate and complete.
We confirm receipt, look at every report, decide without undue delay and tell you what we decided. We do not use automated decision-making for reports.
Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on OIO infringes your copyright, send a report to abuse@oio.app with: the work you say is infringed; the link to the content; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law; a statement that the report is accurate and that you own the right or may act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove or disable access to the content when the report is valid and tell the user.
Counter-notice. If your content was removed after a copyright report and you think that was a mistake, reply with the link to the removed content, a statement that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name and contact details. We look at it again, may pass it to the reporter, and restore the content if the removal was not justified. You can also challenge the decision as set out in section 11 of the Terms, or go to court. We may close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Changes
We may update this policy. We give notice of material changes the same way as for the Terms.
